The FP&A Manager serves as a strategic finance partner responsible for delivering insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive business performance and support high-quality decision-making. This role combines financial expertise, commercial acumen, and data analytics to influence operating results, evaluate strategic opportunities, and identify value creation initiatives across the organization. 

 

The role will lead performance reporting, forecasting, business case development, economic valuations, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with commercial and operational stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who leverages data, analytics, and digital solutions to improve decision quality, enhance efficiency, and drive sustainable business growth. As a manager-level position, the role requires independent judgment and end-to-end ownership within a complex and fast paced, growth-oriented environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver meaningful financial and operational reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance scorecards. 
  • Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to improve revenue, profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. 
  • Present financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to business leaders and senior management. 
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management processes. 
  • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making. 
  • Develop robust business cases and perform financial evaluations for investments, growth initiatives, capital projects, acquisitions, and commercial agreements. 
  • Conduct economic analysis utilizing NPV, IRR, payback, scenario, and sensitivity analysis to ensure sound investment decisions. 
  • Challenge assumptions and provide objective recommendations that maximize value creation. 
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that support improved business performance. 
  • Drive adoption of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and other business intelligence platforms. 
  • Champion automation and process improvements that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and accelerate decision-making. 
  • Support the organization's digital finance agenda by identifying opportunities to utilize advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. 
  • Identify and lead initiatives that improve profitability, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. 
  • Establish value-tracking processes to measure benefits from strategic initiatives, cost reduction programs, and transformation activities. 
  • Partner across functions to simplify processes, improve financial visibility, and strengthen business performance. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualification preferred. 
  • Approximately 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, or Business Performance Management roles. 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and influencing business decisions. 
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, and business case development skills. 
  • Experience with financial planning systems, business intelligence tools, and advanced Excel capabilities. 
  • Proven success driving business performance improvements, process efficiency, and automation initiatives.
