ShyftLabs is a fast-growing data and technology company partnering with Fortune 500 organizations to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions. We help enterprise clients solve complex business challenges through modern data platforms, cloud technologies, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and scalable software engineering.

We are seeking a Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist to support the development and delivery of data-driven insights through interactive dashboards, automated reporting, and analytical solutions. In this client-facing role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support campaign performance measurement and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in Tableau, Looker, Python, and Google BigQuery. You will take ownership of dashboard development, standardized campaign reporting, and reporting automation to improve data accessibility, consistency, and operational efficiency.

  • Dashboard Development & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain internal- and external-facing dashboards using Tableau, Looker, and other analytical tools to provide clear visibility into campaign performance and business outcomes.

  • Campaign Performance Reporting: Build and maintain standardized reporting solutions for End-of-Campaign (EOC), End-of-Quarter (EOQ), and End-of-Year (EOY) reporting, ensuring consistent and reliable performance measurement.

  • Reporting Automation: Automate recurring dashboards, reporting workflows, and data preparation processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure timely delivery of business insights.

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large and complex datasets using exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and actionable opportunities across business domains.

  • Data Sourcing & Modeling: Leverage Google BigQuery and other relevant data sources to extract, query, transform, and organize data for analytical use cases and scalable reporting solutions.

  • Data Quality & Governance: Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation to maintain data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability across dashboards and reports.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate business needs into effective analytical solutions.

  • Business Communication: Present analytical findings and campaign performance insights clearly to diverse audiences, tailoring reporting and recommendations to stakeholder needs.

  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage assigned deliverables from requirements gathering through development, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain clear documentation of dashboards, data models, reporting workflows, data dependencies, and troubleshooting procedures to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline analytical processes, and improve the accessibility and usability of business intelligence solutions.

  •
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Looker.

  • Strong proficiency in Google BigQuery, including SQL-based data extraction, querying, analysis, and data management.

  • Experience using Python and analytical or visualization libraries to support data analysis, data manipulation, and reporting automation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques to business challenges.

  • Experience with exploratory data analysis (EDA), identifying trends and correlations, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and data quality or governance practices.

  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex data and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a lean team, managing priorities and resolving issues with minimal supervision.

  • A commitment to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of analytical processes and reporting solutions.

  • $105,000 - $115.000 (CAD)
