  • →Ensure planned work includes required hazards, permits, procedures, qualifications, isolations, switching, grounding, arc-flash, environmental, and return-to-service controls.
  • →Define authority and escalation requirements for mechanical isolations and electrical switching, testing, commissioning, energization, and return to service.
  • →Verify workforce qualifications, task training, electrical authorizations, contractor controls, and emergency readiness for upcoming work.
  • →Ensure investigations, audits, regulatory documentation, and corrective actions are accurate, timely, and completed to site and MSHA standards.
  • →Set clear expectations, decision boundaries, and escalation requirements for Stationary Maintenance Supervisors, Electrical Maintenance Supervisors, and the Planner.
  • →Hold Supervisors accountable for discipline-specific crew leadership, field execution, safety, quality, Daily Shift Plans, work-order closeout, and execution feedback.
  • →Coach and develop leaders through performance discussions, development actions, cross-training, qualification planning, and succession planning.
  • →Promote collaboration between stationary mechanical and electrical teams while preserving clear technical ownership and accountability.
  • →Coordinate shared isolations, access, shutdown windows, commissioning, power and control dependencies, mechanical completion, and return-to-service requirements.
  • →Coordinate equipment access, production impacts, outages, commissioning, return to service, and environmental actions with Operations and support functions.
  • →Manage labor, overtime, materials, contractors, repairable spares, tooling, test equipment, and outage costs against the approved annual operating budget and within delegated authority.
  • →Own and lead development of the annual operating budget for Stationary and Electrical Maintenance, incorporating asset condition, reliability priorities, workforce requirements, contractor needs, critical spares, planned outages, capital interfaces, lifecycle requirements, and forecast operating costs.
  • →Perform other duties as assigned.
