PMO - ERP / Procurement Transformation (Freelance)

For an international ERP / Procurement Transformation project, our client is looking for a hands-on and tech-savvy PMO to support the project team in planning, coordination, reporting, and project governance.

We are looking for someone who combines solid PMO experience with a strong affinity for digital tools, reporting, data, and efficient project management processes.

• Start: As soon as possible / to be aligned

• Duration: 12 months

• Location: Budapest, Hungary

• Working model: Remote, with occasional onsite presence in Hungary/Germany

• Workload: 100%

• Contract: Freelance / B2B

• Language: Fluent English and Hungarian

• Support the project and program management in day-to-day PMO activities

• Coordinate project plans, milestones, dependencies, actions, and deliverables

• Prepare and maintain project reporting, dashboards, and management presentations

• Track project progress, risks, issues, decisions, and action items

• Support project governance and meeting structures

• Prepare project meetings, steering meetings, and workshops and ensure structured follow-up

• Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency across project workstreams

• Analyze project data and translate it into clear and meaningful reports

• Support and optimize the use of project management and collaboration tools

• Coordinate with different business, IT, and project stakeholders

• At least 5 years of PMO experience in complex IT or transformation projects

• Experience in ERP transformations, procurement transformations, procurement system implementations, or comparable large-scale IT projects

• Strong project coordination, planning, and organizational skills

• Very good reporting and data analysis capabilities

• Strong affinity for project management tools, digital collaboration tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions

• Experience with tools such as Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Airtable, or similar solutions is an advantage

• Ability to quickly understand new tools and project environments

• Structured, proactive, and hands-on working style

• Strong communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders

• Fluent English and Hungarian is mandatory

• Based in or within commuting distance of Budapest
