Long Term Substitute Biology Teacher

Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school in Washington, DC, seeks a long-term, part-time substitute teacher to teach two sections of Biology and one section of Ecology and Conservation.

Applicants must possess:

• An undergraduate degree in Biology or a related field
• Previous experience teaching life sciences
• A graduate degree is preferred

The successful candidate will be an eager collaborator within our science team, possess a good sense of humor, and demonstrate a high level of adaptability in a dynamic work environment. This is a one-semester position beginning January 5 and ending June 9. Classes meet in the mornings only.
