HVAC Service Technician

At Davis Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric, we’re looking for experienced HVAC Service Technicians who take pride in accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and creating a professional customer experience.

• →Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
• →Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• →Identify mechanical, electrical, airflow, and performance issues.
• →Explain findings and available repair or replacement options clearly to homeowners.
• →Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications.
• →Identify opportunities for system upgrades, indoor air quality improvements, and equipment replacement when appropriate.
• →Complete accurate service notes, estimates, photos, and required documentation.
• →Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
• →Maintain assigned tools, equipment, vehicle, and truck inventory.
• →Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, installation, and other field teams.
• →Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and customer-service training.

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
