Residential Service Electrician

• →Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
• →Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and other electrical components.
• →Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.
• →Install generators, EV chargers, surge protection, smoke detectors, and other residential electrical equipment.
• →Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code or safety concerns.
• →Explain findings and provide homeowners with appropriate repair and replacement options.
• →Prepare accurate estimates and complete service documentation using company software.
• →Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, local requirements, and company standards.
• →Maintain a clean and safe work area while protecting customers’ homes.
• →Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, and other field teams to complete jobs efficiently.

• Previous residential electrical service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of residential wiring methods, electrical systems, and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
• Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
