INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND QUALITY ASSURANCE DIRECTOR

Hourly Rate: $50-55/Hour

Summary: 

Provides strategic oversight of quality assurance, information technology, data governance, reporting, and organizational process improvement. Leads and supervises the Quality Assurance Manager and oversees IT management and governance to ensure technology systems, databases, workflows, and automation support reliable operations and accurate reporting. Ensures data quality, reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, documentation standards, and audit readiness across the agency. Partners with departments on data governance, technology strategy, compliance, and cross-functional improvement initiatives, while validating the accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance Manager
• Ensure quality assurance findings are analyzed, interpreted, and integrated into agency workflows and processes
• Oversee IT Manager performance and IT governance alignment
• Ensure systems, databases, and workflows support accurate reporting
• Monitor system reliability, data flow, and automation integrity
• Collaborate on technology strategy and compliance
• Oversee data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work with departments to ensure data governance policies are followed
• Validate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for accuracy and completeness
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Oversee documentation standards and audit readiness

Qualifications:

• Experience with Information Technology infrastructure AND/OR bachelor’s degree in information technology, data analytics, health care administration, public health, business administration, social sciences, quality management, or a related field.
• 3 years of management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of networking, Cybersecurity, cloud platforms and IT project management 
• Experience monitoring Key Performance Indicators
• Experience in establishing continuous quality improvement practices
• Strong leadership skills
