Host/Cashier

Description

Responsible for seat guests in a timely manner, handle all calls and cash/credit transactions; assist the server’s by clearing and setting tables, taking and delivering beverages to guests, and any other tasks that allow the server’s to give our guests excellent service in a timely manner.

         Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

         Seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.

         Take to go orders.

         Handle all cash/credit card transactions.

         Thank all guests as they are leaving.

• →Ask guests for their beverage orders and deliver those to them in a timely manner.
• →Clear empty dishes from the tables as needed.
• →Refill guests beverages as needed.
• →Clear and wipe down tables when guests leave the restaurant.
• →Occasionally may be asked to assist servers with food delivery.

Requirements

         Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.

         Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.

         Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.

         Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

         Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

         Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception.

         Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
