Responsibilities
~2 min readAs the Manager, Demo Engineering, you will step into a pivotal role, spearheading the establishment and growth of our Bangalore-based team. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of team leadership, from hiring and onboarding talented Demo Engineers to fostering their professional development through dedicated 1:1s and constructive performance feedback. A core part of your day will involve expertly running the work queue, assigning tasks, meticulously tracking progress against shifting priorities set in collaboration with the Director, Solutions, and providing clear, consistent reports on team delivery and any roadblocks.
You will maintain an unyielding quality bar for every solution shipped, ensuring all builds adhere to sound Sitetracker/Salesforce design practices and innovative agentic AI/Scout patterns. Your architectural oversight will be crucial, ensuring the team's output meets robust design standards. You'll also take ownership of our demo organizations and environments, managing upgrades, data integrity, access, and documentation.
While your primary focus is leadership and oversight, you'll stay hands-on enough to directly tackle deal-critical or overflow builds when volume spikes, earning your team's respect. Collaborating closely with Sales Engineers, you'll translate complex business requirements into compelling, value-led demo scripts, proactively closing any gaps in incomplete requirements before development begins. This role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring two days in the office with a work window of 2-10 PM IST to align with global teams.
