SIXGEN is looking for a Systems Engineer with a diverse set of skills and technical knowledge with the ability to respond and adapt to unique requirements. Our selected candidate will be engineering projects that will develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to help revolutionize the cyber battlefield and ensure the superiority of our cyber forces over our adversaries. As well as coordinating with external entities, working with our administrators and engineers to ensure ample support, working with developers to build and modify the required software, supporting testers to ensure the mission effect is achieved, and utilizing their technical expertise throughout the entire process to ensure everything is accomplished in a sound and secure manner.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering or related discipline (Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
- →Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)
- Exposure to Cloud/AWS
- An engineering-driven problem solver who can step into a project, quickly assess the situation, and design practical, effective solutions
- Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
- Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
Salary Band; $201,000 - $240,000
