OtherSales Coordinator

Mascot is changing the way collectors, dealers, hobby shops, and consignment sellers manage and sell their inventory. Mascot allows sellers to manage collectibles—including sports cards, TCG/CCG, comics, sealed wax, and more—and syndicate inventory across major marketplaces like eBay, Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and others from one platform.

We’re looking for an organized, proactive Sales Coordinator to support Mascot’s growing sales efforts. This role will sit at the center of demo coordination, prospect research, scheduling, list management, and sales support while also assisting with targeted outbound outreach.

The Sales Coordinator will help keep Mascot’s sales process organized and moving efficiently.

A major part of the role will be coordinating and supporting product demos—scheduling meetings, preparing prospect information, helping with follow-up, and eventually becoming comfortable assisting with or conducting demos of the Mascot platform.

You’ll also own much of the behind-the-scenes prospecting work, including identifying potential customers, building and maintaining call lists, researching accounts, organizing prospect data, and making sure the team consistently has strong prospects to contact.

There will be an outbound component, including calls and emails to prospective customers, but this is not a traditional high-volume SDR role. The position is broader and focused on supporting the overall sales process.

  • Manage calendars, scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups surrounding demos
  • Build, organize, clean, and continuously improve prospect and call lists
  • Research hobby shops, card dealers, breakers, consignors, collectors, and high-volume marketplace sellers
  • Identify new potential customers across the collectibles ecosystem
  • Organize prospect information and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Prioritize prospects based on business size, marketplace activity, and potential fit
  • Support the sales team with account research and preparation before calls
  • Conduct targeted outbound calls and emails to introduce Mascot and schedule appointments
  • Follow up with prospects to help keep conversations and demos moving forward
  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to research prospects, organize information, and improve sales workflows
  • Help identify ways to make prospecting, scheduling, and demo processes more efficient as Mascot grows
  • Early-career candidate who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with customers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple conversations and schedules at once
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone and interacting with prospective customers
  • Ability to research companies and individuals and turn that information into organized prospect lists
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new technology and eventually demonstrating software to customers
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems, or similar tools
  • Comfortable using AI tools to research, organize, and work more efficiently
  • Willingness to make outbound calls and emails when needed
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment where responsibilities may evolve
  • Interest in sports, sports cards, collectibles, ecommerce, or online marketplaces is highly preferred

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Experience supporting a sales, business development, recruiting, or customer-facing team
  • Previous experience coordinating meetings or product demos
  • Experience building prospect lists or conducting account research
  • Familiarity with CRM or sales prospecting tools
  • Personal experience buying or selling through eBay, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of sports cards, TCG, memorabilia, or the broader collectibles market

You keep the sales process organized and make it easier for the team to spend time having productive conversations with prospective customers.

Prospect lists are accurate and consistently refreshed, demos are scheduled and prepared for, follow-ups don't fall through the cracks, and the team has the information it needs before speaking with a potential customer.

As you become more familiar with Mascot and the collectibles industry, you'll take on greater responsibility for prospect conversations, demos, and other parts of the customer acquisition process.

This is an opportunity to join a growing company at the intersection of technology, ecommerce, and collectibles. You'll gain exposure to sales, customer acquisition, product demos, operations, and the collectibles industry while having the opportunity to grow your responsibilities as Mascot scales.
