We believe independent restaurants deserve the same advantages as big chains without giving up their independence.
Ilir Sela started Slice in his family’s pizzerias, where he saw firsthand what it takes to run a local shop. Now we’re taking everything we’ve learned beyond pizza, to taquerias, delis, burger joints, and other neighborhood staples.
We put technology, marketing, buying power, and support to work for more than 15,000 restaurants, so owners spend less time on admin, marketing, and order management and more time growing their business. They remain independent, but never alone.
We’re growing our team to help bring this next chapter to life. That’s where you come in.
Every new Slice Register starts with a box of hardware that has to arrive on time and ready to go. As one of the first members of our new hardware fulfillment site, you’ll make sure thousands of kits a year are configured, packed, and shipped accurately to independent restaurants across the country.
Your day will be fast-paced and will include the following tasks:
- Receive, inspect, and put away inbound hardware, logging any damage or discrepancies, and accurately scanning and recording all inventory movements.
- Utilize handheld scanners, laptops, and apps to pick hardware, building materials, and supplies accurately from shelves.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders to meet strict carrier cutoffs (including expedited and drop-ship orders).
- Build and configure register kits and peripherals to exact specifications, including Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment and device checks.
- Pack items securely, stage orders for pickup or delivery, load products into vans, and handle high-value items in strict accordance with secure storage procedures.
- Participate in regular cycle counts, resolve count variances with the team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
As a member of the Hardware Fulfillment team, you will work with other associates to complete needed tasks, and report to our Bellmawr Hardware Fulfillment Operations Manager.
These are the core competencies this role calls for:
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or inventory environment
- High accuracy and attention to detail, with comfort using barcode scanners and inventory systems
- Basic proficiency with digital inventory tools, handheld scanners, and everyday technology
- Computer proficiency (comfortable operating both MacBooks and Windows PCs)
- Basic technical comfort with device setup and configuration (comprehensive training provided)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift heavy items (frequently 40 to 50+ pounds) throughout a full shift
- Reliable attendance, including flexibility to accommodate expedited orders and Saturday shipping needs
- Prior experience processing point-of-sale (POS) hardware preferred, but not required
