At Smartly, we’re building high-performing teams in a fast-moving, global environment. As an HR Business Partner, you will partner with senior functional leaders to strengthen team effectiveness, elevate manager capability, and ensure our people practices scale with growth.
This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution. You will coach leaders, manage employee relations matters, support organizational changes, and use data and AI-enabled tools to drive smarter, faster people decisions. You will play a key role in fostering a high-trust, high-performance culture.
- Partner with senior functional leaders to align people priorities with business objectives
- Coach managers at multiple levels on performance, feedback, engagement, and effective team leadership
- Manage employee relations matters, exercising sound judgment and appropriate escalation
- Design and facilitate occasional manager enablement or leadership development sessions to strengthen capability across your function
- Support organizational design, team structure evolution, and workforce planning to enable scalable growth
- Use people data, engagement insights, and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, improve efficiency, and drive practical business actions
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on workplace concerns, development questions, and career growth
- Collaborate with the broader People team to deliver talent, learning, and engagement initiatives
- Partner closely with HR Operations to ensure seamless delivery of core HR processes and employee lifecycle support
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, handling sensitive matters with discretion and care
- Champion Smartly’s values and contribute to an inclusive, forward-thinking workplace
- 4-7 years of HR experience, including experience in an HRBP or similar role
- Experience partnering with leaders in a global, fast-paced organization
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence navigating complex situations
- Excellent coaching and influencing skills across multiple levels of the organization
- A data-informed mindset, with comfort using analytics and AI tools to improve decision-making
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong business judgment and a solutions-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Requirements
