Job Summary:

We are looking for a high-impact Talent & People Partner who thrives at the intersection of recruiting, employee experience, and operational excellence. This is more than a traditional HR Generalist role—it's an opportunity to shape how great talent discovers, joins, and grows within SmartSource.

As a key member of our People team, you will own the full-cycle recruiting experience across a wide range of roles while also playing a vital role in ensuring our HR operations run seamlessly. You will be a trusted partner to hiring managers, a champion for candidates, and a steward of an exceptional employee experience from first touch through onboarding and beyond.

If you are energized by building relationships, creating scalable processes, and making a visible impact on a growing organization, this role is for you.

What You will Do:

Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across sales, operations, administrative, and temporary roles—from sourcing through offer acceptance
  • Deliver an outstanding, high-touch candidate experience that is transparent, engaging, and reflective of our culture
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand business needs and translate them into effective hiring strategies
  • Proactively build diverse talent pipelines using creative and data-driven sourcing techniques
  • Clearly communicate role expectations, compensation, growth opportunities, and company vision so candidates can make informed decisions

Relationship Building & Employer Brand

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hiring leaders, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process
  • Build and nurture relationships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations to strengthen early-career and diverse talent pipelines
  • Contribute to and enhance SmartSource’s employer brand in the market

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Lead a seamless onboarding and new hire orientation experience that sets employees up for immediate success
  • Function as a welcoming and resourceful first point of contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization

HR Operations & Projects

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and data within HR systems
  • Manage background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications
  • Ensure data integrity within the applicant tracking system and HRIS (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Support key HR initiatives and special projects that improve processes, scalability, and employee experience

What You Bring:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and/or HR generalist roles
  • A proactive, resourceful approach to sourcing and engaging talent in competitive markets
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Strong commitment to delivering a best-in-class candidate and employee experience
  • Experience with the Recruitment module of ADP Workforce Now
  • Current or prior payroll experience with ADP a plus
