Dental Hygienist - Redwood Dental Madison Heights

We are seeking a confident, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a strong doctor who values a thorough hygienist, prioritizes patient relationships, and appreciates team members who present findings with confidence.

Job Description:

• Provide preventive dental care, periodontal therapy, and routine cleanings
• Perform oral health assessments and screenings
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and healthy lifestyle habits
• Collaborate closely with our dentists and clinical team to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Requirements:

• Current Michigan RDH license
• Local Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide certification

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain periodontal disease and oral health to patients
• Someone who can maximize appointment time while delivering thorough, high-quality care
• Comfort in educating patients and presenting findings to the doctor
• A professional who can help build a productive hygiene schedule while ensuring patients receive the care they need

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM–1:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:30 AM–2:00 PM

Rotating Weekend Schedule: Friday and Saturday shifts will rotate. When the hygienist is scheduled to work the weekend, Thursday will be their day off to accommodate the weekend schedule and maintain consistent hygiene coverage.
