Are you passionate about advancing clinical practice through education and building meaningful partnerships with healthcare professionals? As our Medical Education Manager for Non Healing Wounds, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative medical education programmes across the NEUCAN region, including the Nordics, UK & Ireland, and Canada. This field based role is ideally suited to someone based in England with good access to our Watford office and the flexibility to travel extensively across the territory.

Working at the intersection of clinical expertise, education, and commercial strategy, you will help create engaging learning experiences that support healthcare professionals in the safe and effective use of Advanced Wound Management therapies. If you enjoy influencing clinical practice, working cross functionally, and delivering programmes that make a real difference to patient outcomes, this could be the opportunity for you.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind Medical Education initiatives across the region. You will collaborate with colleagues in Medical Education, Marketing, Professional Affairs, and Commercial teams to design and execute impactful learning programmes that respond to evolving market needs.

You will work closely with healthcare professionals, clinical experts, and professional societies to build networks of educators, innovators, and thought leaders. Through a blend of in person and digital learning solutions, you will help deliver high quality educational experiences that support healthcare professionals and strengthen Smith+Nephew's position as a trusted partner in wound care.

From managing programme logistics and evaluating outcomes to introducing new learning technologies and ensuring compliance with local regulations, you will play a central role in delivering best in class medical education across NEUCAN.

Success in this role comes from combining clinical credibility with excellent stakeholder engagement and programme management skills. You will be comfortable working across multiple countries and collaborating in a matrix environment while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional educational experiences.

Key requirements include:

• Degree level education in a healthcare related field, with wound care certification or equivalent clinical expertise preferred.

• Significant experience in Medical Education, with Advanced Wound Management experience highly desirable and a strong understanding of wound care pathways and clinical practice.

• Experience working with the NHS and engaging healthcare professionals, clinical leaders, and professional societies would be highly advantageous.

• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the NEUCAN region, with travel expected to be up to 70%.

• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple programmes and priorities simultaneously.

• Advanced communication and presentation skills, with confidence delivering engaging educational content to a variety of audiences.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse programme data, prepare reports, and create high quality presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
