MMC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team for the evening shift. As a Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents’ daily lives. You’ll assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote their well-being and independence, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual Service Plan and needs.
- Assist residents maintain a comforting routine that supports their well-being.
- Observe and document any changes in a resident’s condition, including behavior, mood and physical health.
- Ability to respond to emergent situations following facility procedures in a calm and proactive manner.
- Ability to communicate timely, effectively and empathetically with patients, their family members, and staff at every level of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Reliable and responsible.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Pass background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Capacity to assist with physical tasks like lifting and transferring patients.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances, bend, lift, grasp, fine hand coordination, and/or squat repeated many times in a signal shift.
- Able to push and pull items of various weights.
- Able to regularly lift 45 lbs. without a mechanical lift.
