Société Générale Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines recognized wholesale coverage with world-class product, financing and advisory expertise within one team, enabling us to best support our clients.

GLBA is organized around:

  • Origination: encompassing the Financing, Investment Banking and Coverage teams, and a Sustainable and Positive Impact Finance Solutions team, all with a very strong sectoral alignment

  • Distribution: a joint team between GLBA and Markets, leveraging the strengths of both Business Units to help distribution efforts at scale. It combines Advisory, Structuring and Financing, Syndication, Credit Trading and Credit Sales

  • Credit Portfolio Management, actively managing risks and resources, ensuring compliance with ESG commitments and proposing best-in-class, digital and data-driven portfolio management

Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) actively manages GLBA's loan book across the three regions with the objective of enhancing capital stewardship through resource optimization and disciplined portfolio management, to increase balance sheet velocity and implement a capital-light model.

CPM is a risk taker entity and manages the books along three verticals: Corporates IG & NIG, Real Assets & Infrastructure, and Financial Assets & Insurance. A sectoral focus across the three verticals such as energy, infrastructure, telecom media & technology, industries, commercial real estate or transportation further ensures full alignment and a 360° credit vision.

As a Credit Analyst, you will be part of the Real Assets & Infrastructure team, responsible for the management of a broad array of events linked to transactions within the assigned credit portfolio, which includes:

  • Conducting detailed periodic credit reviews, analyzing historical financial statements and reporting on project progress and performance

  • Managing various credit events related to the transaction lifecycle, such as waivers and amendments, facility renewals, refinancings, and restructurings, as / if applicable

  • Monitoring RWA parameters of portfolio transactions, ensuring correct system input in relation to financial and project-specific data, and liaising with various departments and external contacts regarding a variety of topics

  • Supporting Portfolio Managers in the execution of Secondary Sales and other Credit Distribution initiatives, as / if applicable

  • Performing administrative and operational tasks in relation to the assigned credit portfolio, and participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as requested

You will be most successful in the role if:

  • You have experience with credit analysis and structured finance, specifically within areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, TMT, and Real Estat

  • You have, or are close to completing, a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • You are committed and analytical, with professional conduct focused on quality and excellence

  • You speak English fluently and are comfortable using it daily

  • You adapt easily to a changing environment, and enjoy building positive relationships with other team members

  • You hold, or are working toward, professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA or equivalent, which are considered a strong advantage
