Lead Software Engineer -PBI

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for enterprise applications built using Microsoft PBI technologies.
• Drive solution design, development standards, coding best practices, and engineering governance.
• Review application architecture, design documents, and code to ensure scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Lead technology decisions, technical roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Experience of 9+ years in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.

·       Good working knowledge with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS , SSIS.

·       Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.

·       Should have good hands on experience in SQL programming and writing queries

·      Experience in SAPBO to PBI migration preferred

·       Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling

·       Building Analysis Services reporting models.

·       Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.

·       Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.

·       Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.

·       Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.

·       Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.

·       Able to develop tabular models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
