M&A Analyst

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Building complex financial models and completing valuation, mergers, and other analytical exercises
• Drafting of presentations for M&A transactions or strategic client dialogue
• Working closely with the rest of Team to create client deliverables and meet ad-hoc client requests
• Closely collaborating with various industries, countries and other products’ colleagues during origination and execution stages
• Perform industry and company research to support business development and on an ad-hoc basis

Studies & experience:

• A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution
• Initial exposure to valuation methodologies (DCF, Multiples, Merger model, LBO model)
• Ideally prior experience in Investment Banking at a recognized Investment Bank or consulting boutique

Language skills:

• Fluency in Italian and English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficiency in MS office applications
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong work ethic with good team/ interpersonal skills
• Strong team player
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently while participating collaboratively within a team
