Post Trade Application Developer

• Propose and develop solutions to modernize legacy tools using technologies e.g. Java, C#
• Assist the IT development team in various technical modernization and decommissioning project
• Investigate, identify and resolve incidents and problems 
• Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability of production
• Monitor application and chain health. Build monitoring using external tools and develop in-house monitoring tool
• Take initiatives to reduce the operational risks and improve efficiency of day to day production
   

• Studying towards a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar majors
• Have good knowledge on Unix and SQL
• Capable to understand and code with programming languages (e.g. Java, C#)
• Willing to learn, able to learn quickly
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have positive mindset and work as a team player
• Fluent in English is mandatory

Department Description

The technology department started an ambitious project to cover the front to back lifecycle of Structured Product, including the requirements from the financial engineers, sales, traders and middle office.

As part of the Global Banking Technology and Operation team, we work hand in hand with the software developers, project managers, and users to design, develop, and ensure the stability of global strategic solution for the Structured Product business line.
