Quantitative Analyst

Design & Development

• Design, implement, and maintain features that meet functional, quantitative, and performance requirements.
• Produce robust, maintainable code aligned with RDWS standards.
• Contribute proactively to code reviews and continuous improvement of the application's technical foundations.

Quality & Delivery

• Ensure high standards of calculation reliability, performance, scalability, and service resilience.
• Maintain appropriate automated test coverage (unit, integration, non-regression).
• Support improvements to CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes.

Operational Responsibilities

• Participate in monitoring of the production environment and contribute to incident analysis and resolution.
• Take part in post-mortem reviews and help define sustainable corrective actions.
• Contribute to enhancements in observability, monitoring, and alerting.

Transversal Collaboration

• Interact closely with engineering and trading teams to ensure the functional and quantitative accuracy of delivered features.
• Understand, challenge, and clarify complex business requirements while integrating technical, business, and regulatory constraints.
• Collaborate effectively across the Paris-Hong Kong team, adapting to a multi-time-zone, international environment.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Apply secure-development practices and follow SG and Applied Research & Development (ARD) standards.
• Manage risks linked to code complexity, operational processes, quantitative accuracy, and cloud deployment.
• Maintain strong test coverage and raise alerts when identifying issues or potential misuse of system functionality.
• Pay particular attention to data-protection and information-security risks in cloud environments.

Profile Requirements:

Technical:

• Solid experience in C# development.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Awareness of performance, resilience, and security requirements in cloud-based systems.

Business:

• Understanding of financial-product pricing concepts.
• Knowledge of electronic sales workflows and interactions between IT, engineering, and trading.
• Ability to work in a regulated, multi-product, multi-region environment.

Department Description

Role Overview:
The person will be a core member of the team responsible for Bender, the pricing engine supporting structured-products activity across FIC and EQD. They will contribute directly to the quality, performance, and reliability of a platform used in Europe and Asia by engineering, trading, and electronic-sales teams. They will operate within the Paris/Hong Kong setup and collaborate daily with engineering desks, trading, and IT teams.
