Specialist Software Engineer - SAS Support

Responsible for supporting SAS viya platform with various user requests as well ensure availability and stability of platform.

Able to technically lead and influence the stakeholders.

Possess strong communication skills, able to understand user requests, technical queries and adequately address them

5+ years of development experience with relevant experience in SAS platforms as developer and/or admin.

Design, build, and optimize scalable data sets, analytical models, and reporting components using SAS Visual Analytics (VA) and SAS Studio

Write efficient Base SAS, SAS Macros, SQL, and CAS procedures (CASL/Python) to manipulate large-scale enterprise data.

Manage user authentications, LDAP/OAuth integration, identity providers, and set up granular CAS (Cloud Analytic Services) authorizations and row/column-level security

Perform routine health checks, troubleshoot daily user/system incidents, optimize memory/compute footprints, and manage log files

Understand how to connect SAS Viya with external databases, RDBMS, and data lakes via API, REST, or data connectors.

Experience on credit risk topics in Banking Industry would be a plus
