This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic middle-office function supporting complex financing transactions in a global investment banking environment. The position provides broad exposure to front-office partners, legal documentation, transaction execution, operational controls, and system data integrity. It is well suited for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem solving, collaboration, and working close to the full transaction lifecycle.
The position sits within the Specialized Financing Middle Office team. As part of Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO), the Transaction Management team is a key partner to GLBA Front Office teams and supports financing and capital markets transactions from approval through closing and ongoing administration. The team reviews and analyzes legal documentation, models transactions in LoanIQ, and helps ensure that operational setup, controls, and data are accurate across multiple business lines within Société Générale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Play a key role in the transaction closing process by reviewing credit approvals, legal documentation, and transaction structures to ensure facilities are accurately documented and aligned with approved terms.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, approval conditions, and operational control standards throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Loan Servicing teams, borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to gather, validate, and maintain information needed for successful transaction execution.
• Set up and maintain transaction, facility, and borrower data within LoanIQ, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of system records.
• Create, update, and monitor collateral information in LoanIQ, ensuring records remain complete and accurate.
• Validate transaction-related fees, including upfront fees, agency fees, commitment fees, and facility fees, in accordance with business instructions and accounting policies.
• Perform data quality reviews, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate the resolution of data and operational issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, control enhancements, regulatory and audit requests, and special projects that strengthen the team’s efficiency, operational risk framework, and overall client service.
• Assist in the preparation of reporting and management information related to transaction activity, operational metrics, and data quality monitoring.
• Build a strong understanding of specialized financing products, operational workflows, and transaction management processes while developing relationships across business, operations, legal, and control functions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required/Must have:
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to organize, analyze, and validate transaction data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ownership of work product
Desired/Plus:
• Experience with LoanIQ or similar loan servicing platforms
• Exposure to credit documentation, syndicated loans, structured finance, or related banking products

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Required/Must have:
3–5 years of experience in financial operations, transaction management, loan operations, middle office, or a related financial services role
Desired/Plus:
Prior exposure to loan servicing, structured finance, credit documentation, or transaction closing processes is a plus.
EDUCATION
Required/Must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field preferred

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
