Dans votre rôle, vous serez soutenu par le gestionnaire des systèmes électriques en tant que professionnel en ingénierie – intégration des systèmes électriques, dans un poste polyvalent au sein de l’équipe d’ingénierie fonctionnelle. L’équipe d’intégration des systèmes électriques est responsable du développement, de la certification, de l’amélioration et du maintien des meilleures normes industrielles pour les architectures des systèmes de génération et de distribution d’énergie électrique ainsi que des systèmes d’éclairage sur nos aéronefs. Notre équipe soutient l’ensemble des produits. Dans ce rôle, vous devrez :

• Participer aux améliorations techniques et aux développements des systèmes électriques pour les programmes d’avions existants et futurs (optimisation des architectures, intégration de nouvelles technologies, etc.)
• Préparer et/ou réviser les documents d’ingénierie liés aux modifications des systèmes électriques sur nos avions (en production et en service)
• Proposer, élaborer et tester de nouvelles approches visant à optimiser les avions d’affaires sur des aspects tels que la réduction des émissions, les coûts, le poids, la performance et la satisfaction client
• Contribuer aux études comparatives (trade studies) liées à l’introduction et à l’intégration de nouvelles technologies sur les aéronefs
• Apprendre et contribuer au domaine de connaissance des systèmes électriques afin de capitaliser les leçons apprises et les meilleures pratiques de l’industrie (produit et processus)
• Gérer les interfaces avec les partenaires internes et externes ainsi que les fournisseurs sur les aspects techniques
• Représenter la discipline électrique auprès des collaborateurs internes et externes

In your role, you will be supported by the electrical systems manager as a Professional – Engineering – Electrical Systems Integration in a multifaceted position within the Functional Engineering Team. The Electrical System Integration team is responsible to develop, certify, improve, and maintain the best industry standards for the Electrical Power Generation & Distribution systems and lighting systems architectures on our airplanes.  Our team supports all products. In this role, you will:

• participate in the Electrical Systems technical improvements & developments for our existing and future airplane programs (optimize architectures, incorporate new technologies, etc.),
• prepare/review engineering documents related to electrical system changes on our airplanes (production + in-service aircraft),
• propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimize our business airplanes on aspects such as: emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, customer satisfaction, etc,
• contribute to trade studies associated to new technology introduction and integration on aircraft,
• learn and contribute to the Electrical Knowledge Domain to capture lessons learned and best industry practices (product & process),
• manage interfaces with internal & external partners and suppliers for technical aspects,
• represent the Electrical discipline with internal and external collaborators.

• hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering,
• have a minimum of 5 years in electrical system integration or related experience,
• have knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc) and are familiar with airworthiness (TCCA, FAA, EASA) Regulations and Advisory Materials pertaining to Electrical,
• are comfortable working in a team, and can interact with other functional areas, including airworthiness, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines to achieve common goals,
• have good oral and technical writing skills. French is an asset,
• can work autonomously and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals allocated for you,
• are motivated to learn and work on multiple projects at the same time.
