Ingénieur(e) senior - systèmes avioniques

Dans votre rôle d’ingénieur systèmes avioniques DAD, vous serez responsable de l’exécution de diverses tâches liées au développement, aux essais, à la certification, à la production et au soutien en service des systèmes avioniques d’aéronefs d’affaires de dernière génération.

Plus précisément :

• Être responsable et soutenir l’intégration en temps voulu des systèmes tels que : AFCS, communications (VHF, HF, SATCOM, liaison de données), navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, transpondeur, IRS, GPS, FMS, radar météo), affichage (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), ainsi que les systèmes d’information/maintenance et d’enregistrement (IMS, OMS, chargement de données, CVR, FDR, AHMS), etc., sur l’aéronef
• Soutenir la définition et la gestion des exigences globales des systèmes et sous-systèmes afin d’assurer la conformité aux exigences de sécurité, de certification et de conception de l’aéronef
• Collaborer avec les fournisseurs de systèmes ainsi que les autres fournisseurs et disciplines impliqués dans le programme afin de garantir une conception adéquate du système pour une intégration harmonieuse sur l’aéronef et le respect des exigences de certification
• Participer ou assister à certains essais de certification, inspections et/ou audits
• Examiner et approuver les rapports de conformité au nom de SOGECLAIR, conformément aux plans de certification approuvés
• Assurer le maintien de la navigabilité des systèmes avioniques conformément aux réglementations, normes et guides applicables
• Approuver et recommander les plans de certification au nom de SOGECLAIR afin d’obtenir l’acceptation des autorités réglementaires concernant les moyens et méthodes de conformité ainsi que le niveau d’implication
• Soutenir la chaîne d’assemblage final et les aéronefs en service pour tout problème lié à la conception et assurer leur résolution
• Participer au développement et à la mise en œuvre des outils et processus nécessaires à la fonction afin d’atteindre les objectifs organisationnels

In your role as an Avionics Systems DAD, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.

More specifically:

• Be responsible and support the timely integration of systems, such as AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS), etc. on the aircraft.
• Support the definition and management of the overall systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met
• Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft and meet certification requirements
• Witness or participate in selected certification tests, inspections, and/or audits
• Review and Approve Compliance Reports on behalf of SOGECLAIR in accordance with approved Certification Plans
• Ensure aircraft avionics airworthiness is maintained per required regulations, regulatory standards, and guidance material
• Approve and recommend Certification Plans on behalf of SOGECLAIR to secure regulatory authority acceptance of Means and Methods of Compliance and Level of Involvement
• Support the Final Assembly Line and In Service Aircrafts for any design related issues and bring them to closure
• Participate in the development and implementation of tools and processes as needed by the function to meet our organizational objectives

• You hold a university degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Current or candidate-for DAD / DAR status preferred. (Has met the requirements of Transport Canada AWM 505 "Delegation of Authority" 505.409).
• You are familiar with and have a working relationship with TCCA, EASA or FAA.
• You are knowledgeable with civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 avionics regulations and industry advisory material including RTCA and ARP documents for applicable TCCA, EASA and FAA avionics certification requirements.
• You have extensive working experience with system design, test and certification requirements of aircraft auto flight, communication, navigation including FMS, indicating/recording systems, onboard maintenance systems, etc.
• Knowledge and/or Experience in Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.
• You are familiar with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754 and ARP4761.
• You have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• You have excellent problem-solving skills, work planning structure and prioritization.
• You can work well in a team environment.
• You are willing to travel.
