Exciting new sales opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual who has a passion for homeware and interiors to join the Soho Home retail team. There is a full-time position available in our Soho Home Farmhouse studio.
As a team member you will be committed to providing professional service to customers and maintaining outstanding product knowledge.
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to create memorable experiences and build customer loyalty.
- Greet and engage customers warmly, offering attentive and professional support throughout their visit.
- Share confident product knowledge, including materials, styles, and availability in-store and online.
- Suggest suitable alternatives when items are unavailable, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Understand individual customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Use strong service skills to drive conversions and support sales goals.
- Contribute to daily and weekly sales targets while keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority.
- Stay aware of best- and slow-selling products to guide recommendations and improve sales.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the Soho Home brand, products, and seasonal collections.
- Handle customer queries with professionalism or refer to management when needed.
- Keep displays well-stocked and ensure the shop floor meets cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Quickly and efficiently retrieve stock from back-of-house as needed.
- Provide feedback to managers on customer preferences and product performance.
Requirements

- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-end interiors or lifestyle retail store.
- A genuine passion for interiors, design, and home styling, with a confident approach to discussing colours, styles, and trends.
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of our brand
- Creative flair and a natural ability to inspire customers with styling ideas and product recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills – honest, open, and constructive – with both customers and team member
- Flexible and adaptable, able to respond positively to the evolving needs of the retail environment.
- A true team player, ready to support colleagues and contribute to a positive store culture.
- Experience in furniture and lighting sales is highly advantageous.
