Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and electrical components
- →Configure system monitoring tools and verify functionality
- →Review and complete system testing documentation
- →Troubleshoot technical issues related to solar equipment and monitoring platforms
- →Perform hands-on field work as needed
- →Ensure compliance with NEC codes and local electrical standards
- →Maintain strong communication with superintendents, project managers, and clients
- →Maintain and inspect assigned PPE, tools, and equipment
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 5 years of experience in PV installation and/or service (residential and commercial)
- Strong understanding of DC electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Safety & Basic Wiring Techniques (Preferred)
- Strong understanding with NEC and local codes related to PV installations
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer documentation
- Solid problem-solving and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs. and working from elevated environments
- Proficient in using computers and system monitoring software
- Experience with quality control and job site safety (OSHA standards)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- OSHA 10 Certification (required)
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Journeyman Electrician License (preferred but not required)
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
