Solita is helping to build knowledge platforms, sometimes called company brains, for our customers. These platforms connect company information to its business context, enabling employees and AI agents to find reliable answers, understand where they come from, and rely on having permission to see the information.
The information usually already exists, spread across SharePoint sites, ticketing systems, ERP data, and the expertise of people who have spent years building the business. While building digital solutions is becoming easier and faster with AI-assisted development, creating trusted knowledge platforms still requires a deep understanding of business concepts, data, and how people make decisions.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our customers’ domain experts to understand their business, which are the most valuable questions the platform should solve, and which sources and definitions those answers need. You then take each use case into production, where employees and agents rely on it in their daily work.
AI coding agents are naturally used in your daily work. You’ll give them clear specifications, provide the right context, and ensure the quality and reliability of what is produced. While AI helps accelerate development, you remain responsible for delivering solutions that work in production and create real business value.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborate with customer domain experts to identify use cases and define success metrics, such as time to answer or answer accuracy.
- →Translate the customer business concepts into maintainable conceptual models and ontologies, ensuring that both people and agents use the same definitions: what counts as an active customer, or which price list applies when.
- →Integrate documents and enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Confluence, CRM and ERP platforms, and while modeling structured data from databases and data platforms to fit the ontology.
- →Design and implement retrieval and agent workflows that respect source system permissions and stay up to date when the sources change.
- →Set up the development workflows with automated testing, evaluations, and code review.
- →Deploy and operate the platform and continuously track answer quality and operational performance after go-live.
- →Investigate answers users don’t trust and fix the underlying cause.
- Experience delivering software to production and maintaining it afterwards.
- Conceptual modelling: turning how domain experts talk about their business into a model and judging where it needs precision and where it can stay loose.
- Good SQL and experience with relational data models.
- Ability to model business knowledge using ontologies or similar semantic modelling approaches and keep those models maintainable as the domain evolves.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Github Copilot, and the ability to review, debug and improve generated code.
- Experience building LLM applications or retrieval systems, including measuring whether they give good answers.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
- Experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Comfort with incomplete requirements and clarify them directly with customers.
- Modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Fluent communication skills in English. Finnish language is considered an advantage.
- Experience with semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL or SPARQL, graph databases.
