Cadence is the clinical AI company automating the treatment of chronic disease. Its Clinical Intelligence takes on the routine, high-volume work of chronic care – monitoring patients, surfacing risks, and coordinating action – so clinicians can focus on the decisions that require them. Grounded in partnerships with more than 20 leading health systems, deep EMR integrations, dedicated medical group, and experience serving a population of more than 100,000 patients, the system learns from real-world care delivery, improving as it scales. Cadence has been recognized by TIME as one of the Top 100 HealthTech Companies and by LinkedIn as a Top Startup (#4, 2025).

We're hiring a Software Engineering Intern to build and ship software and AI-powered experiences that support chronic care delivery between visits. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, clinicians, and operational partners, taking ownership of a defined project from design and prototyping through production rollout. Your work will sit at the intersection of AI, healthcare data, and distributed systems, helping extend clinical capacity while keeping human judgment and accountability central to care.

The problems we’re solving sit at the intersection of AI, messy healthcare data, and distributed systems. Our impact is measured by patients living healthier, longer lives: our studies show that translates to a 32% drop in hospitalizations.

We’re looking for interns who identify as product-minded builders and care as much about the outcome as the implementation. We are looking for those who thrive in a fast-paced environments, take ownership from inception to launch, and are motivated by solving hard problems that improve patients’ lives.
