Associate General Counsel, Corporate, Transactions & Finance (969-SLS)

Our client has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist with its search for an Associate General Counsel – Corporate, Transactions & Finance. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and serving as a key strategic advisor across the organization. The successful candidate will provide sophisticated legal counsel on corporate transactions, finance and tax matters, governance, employee benefits, international operations, and other strategic business initiatives. This position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over time, this attorney will have the opportunity to serve as successor to the CLO.

The ideal candidate will possess 12+ years of legal experience, including a combination of top law firm and/or sophisticated in-house experience supporting corporate transactions, finance-related matters, corporate governance, and strategic business initiatives. Experience with employee benefits, international operations, tax structuring, and complex commercial matters is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will be a pragmatic, business-minded attorney with excellent judgment and executive presence. This individual will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, influence stakeholders across an organization, and translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions. Strong communication skills, high integrity, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics are essential. The ideal candidate will also bring a collaborative approach, a global perspective, and a commitment to partnering with business leaders to achieve strategic objectives while appropriately managing risk.
