Summary of Position:

We're looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team. You'll be responsible for editing podcast episodes and social media content, adhering to brand guidelines, and creating motion graphics. 

Responsibilities:

• Edit videos for podcast episodes, social media cuts
• Regularly collaborate with the team for directions and project status
• Follow each client's brand guidelines
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts, incorporate client feedback
• Design motion graphics title cards and lower thirds
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with management from production to post-production process
• Communicate with clients and submit deliverables on time (48 hour turnaround).
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• 3-10+ years of proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio of videos you have created specifically for youtube and social media platforms (horizontal and vertical-type of  videos)
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe tools, After Effects, Photoshop etc.)
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, etc.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
