We are growing quickly and expanding our client-facing admissions team to improve appointment availability, increase responsiveness, and create a world-class first impression for prospective families.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a highly polished, articulate, and emotionally intelligent Admissions Intake Specialist / Account Executive to serve as the first point of contact for prospective families interested in our services.
This is not a cold-calling or outbound sales role.
All calls are pre-booked inbound consultations generated through paid marketing campaigns and referral traffic. Your responsibility is to conduct warm introductory conversations with families, gather key information, explain our services at a high level, qualify overall fit, and transition strong prospects into deeper consultations with senior admissions advisors.
The ideal candidate is highly personable, organized, consultative, and capable of building trust quickly with affluent U.S.-based families. You must be comfortable speaking with educated parents, understanding the nuances of the U.S. college admissions landscape, and representing a premium brand professionally.
This role is especially well-suited for candidates who:
- Studied in the United States
- Have experience in education, admissions, academic consulting, or consultative sales
- Have worked with U.S.-based clients extensively
- Can communicate with near-native English fluency
- Thrive in highly client-facing environments
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Conduct introductory consultations with prospective families via Zoom or phone
- Build rapport quickly and create a strong first impression of the company
- Gather student and family information, including:
- Academic background
- Grade level
- Intended areas of study
- Admissions goals
- Current stage in the admissions process
- Document key information accurately within CRM systems and internal workflows
- Explain the company’s services, packages, and admissions support process clearly and confidently
- Answer high-level questions about the admissions journey and company offerings
- Position the value of the service without using aggressive sales tactics
- Coordinate and schedule follow-up consultations with senior admissions advisors
- Ensure warm, seamless transitions between the intake process and the advising/sales team
- Maintain strong communication and professionalism throughout the client journey
- Represent the company’s premium brand with professionalism and emotional intelligence
- Create positive experiences that increase conversion rates and client confidence
- Build trust with sophisticated and affluent U.S.-based families
- Maintain organized notes and CRM updates
- Follow SOPs, scripts, and internal workflows
- Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching sessions
Requirements

- Prior experience in one or more of the following:
- College admissions
- Education consulting

- Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and discussing the U.S. college admissions process
- Reliable high-speed internet and professional remote work environment
- Studied at a U.S. college or university
- Previously lived in the United States
- Experience working for U.S.-based education companies
- Familiarity with U.S. college admissions timelines and terminology
- Experience handling Zoom consultations or video-based client calls
- Experience using CRM systems and scheduling tools
