Position:Android Engineer (Kotlin)— AI-First

We are hiring an Android Engineer (Kotlin) to take us from iOS-first to full Android parity and launch our Android app. The iOS experience is the reference bar; your job is to replicate it on Android with pixel-level accuracy, great performance, and strong reliability.

This is an AI-native engineering role. You should be extremely comfortable building with the newest frontier models and developer tooling (including Codex, OpenAI models, and Anthropic models) to move fast without sacrificing quality.

• →Build the Android app in Kotlin, matching iOS behavior and UX closely.
• →Take the existing iOS implementation and break down features into an Android plan that reaches parity quickly.
• →Own the end-to-end delivery: development, QA, iteration, release readiness, and Android launch.
• →Implement UI and interactions with obsessive attention to detail (layout, typography, spacing, animations, transitions).
• →Ensure quality through strong testing practices, careful validation, and regression prevention.
• →Communicate clearly and proactively with the team (written + verbal), flagging risks early and proposing solutions.

• Strong Android development experience in Kotlin (you can ship).
• Ownership mentality: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
• Quick learner who thrives in a startup environment (fast pace, ambiguity, high standards).
• Excellent communication (clear written updates, crisp verbal discussions, strong async collaboration).
• Deep comfort with modern AI workflows:
  • You use frontier models daily (Codex / OpenAI / Anthropic).
  • You know how to verify outputs, write good prompts, and use AI to accelerate implementation + testing.
• High quality bar: you care that the Android app feels identical to iOS.

• Experience porting/parity work (bringing an app from iOS to Android or vice versa).
• Strong testing background (unit/integration/UI testing).
• Experience with release pipelines, crash reporting, analytics, and performance profiling.
