AP Specialist 3 - 19968

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on special projects and reconciliations as assigned
• Monitor AP email inboxes for action
• Code and submit invoices from various Invoice Inboxes in system for approval routing and payment
• Process various suppliers and other payments (i.e. taxes) online or via phone as required
• Enter invoices in BC for suppliers that require one-time payments via check or agencies that require checks 
• Process payments for utility bills that are not on auto payment
• Assist with various utility bill deposits for locations when needed
• Update utility tracker for all payments made
• Download all utility bills and save in appropriate location folders
• Provide monthly usage for each location’s utilities on tracker
• Process payments assigned on the BC credit card tracker
• Assist with SPA setups for suppliers where necessary including call back verifications
• Process monthly Split Allocation invoices
• Reconcile monthly utility card
• Assist with Amex Plat reconciliation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience with financial reporting or analysis.
