Job Title: Bookkeeper 
Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor
Location: Remote (Latin America)
Work Hours: US Pacific Time (minimum 6 hours overlap required)
 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with 2–3 years of experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, demonstrates critical thinking skills, and can manage recurring accounting tasks efficiently. Prior experience with law firm clients is a plus, but not required.

  Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records.

  Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accounts are up to date.

  Assist with month-end close processes.

  Handle some payroll-related tasks.

  Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (must-have).

• Strong communication skills and ability to think critically.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.

• Experience with law firm accounting.

• Familiarity with tax preparation (not required).

• Exposure to the following software:

  • Canopy (internal)

  • Clio, Filevine, LawPay, CasePeer (client-side)
