Our client is an established organisation in Ireland operating within the engineering and infrastructure sector.

The company is currently expanding its technical and project delivery teams and is looking for junior-level engineering talent to support ongoing projects.

We are looking for a CAD Technician / Junior Design Engineer currently based in Latin America to join the company’s team in Dublin, Ireland.

The successful candidate will support the engineering and project teams with the preparation, development, and maintenance of technical drawings and documentation.

This opportunity is exclusively for candidates currently based in Latin America.

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland.

Relocation is mandatory and non-negotiable for this role.

The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.

This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Dublin, Ireland.

• →Prepare, update, and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings and technical documentation.
• →Produce detailed drawings and layouts in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• →Assist engineers with the preparation of design drawings, plans, and construction documentation.
• →Review drawings and technical information for accuracy and completeness.
• →Make revisions to drawings based on engineering and site requirements.
• →Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings and project records.
• →Interpret engineering information, specifications, surveys, and site information.
• →Liaise with engineers, project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing requirements are met.
• →Maintain organised drawing files and ensure appropriate document control procedures are followed.
• →Assist with site and project-related technical queries where required.
• →Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• →Support the wider engineering team with general technical and project-related tasks.

• Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in a CAD Technician, Junior Engineer, Engineering Technician, or similar role.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A willingness to learn and develop within the utilities and engineering industry.
• Full driving licence would be an advantage.

Only candidates currently based in Latin America who are willing and able to relocate to Dublin, Ireland will be considered.

The position is fully on-site in Ireland. Relocation is mandatory and will be supported by the company.
