Company Overview:

Our client is a fast-moving startup operating and supporting two rapidly growing online casino brands across the crypto and U.S. social casino markets. The business operates within a larger ecosystem of highly established gaming operators. 

 

One brand is a well-funded, rapidly scaling crypto casino backed by an international gaming group operating 17 additional casinos generating more than $50 million per month in gross gaming revenue. The second is a U.S.-facing social casino backed by a major U.S. operator generating more than $10 million per month in gross profit. 

 

The company has the potential to exceed $100 million in annual profit within the next year.

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a young, high-energy, hungry Product Designer to work in person at our Cape Town office. This is an individual contributor role for an AI-native operator who steers advanced AI tools to generate 100% of our design output—across product flows, marketing creatives, social media assets, email designs, and brand collateral for our client. 

 

You will not design by hand or manage a design team; instead, you will masterfully guide AI systems to produce high-taste, high-velocity assets while working hand-in-glove with our marketing lead. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• AI-Native Design Execution: Leverage and steer state-of-the-art AI design and generation tools to rapidly produce all visual assets, UI/UX product flows, email signatures/footers, and ad creatives of the different companies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-glove with the marketing team to align design production with campaign needs, approving and handing off assets for immediate publishing.
• Social & Brand Systems: Build comprehensive visual identities and design systems across platforms (e.g., Telegram, Facebook, Instagram), maintaining aesthetic consistency and speed.
• Product Critique & Iteration: Continuously evaluate existing product user flows and visual touchpoints across all brands, rapidly generating improved mockups and design solutions using AI.
• Hands-On Ownership & Paid Trial: Operate as a lean individual contributor with zero expectation of managing a team. Demonstrate capabilities during a 1-to-2-week paid trial tackling real deliverables (UI critiques, AI website/ad mockups, Telegram design systems, email templates).

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Location: Must work in-person in Cape Town, South Africa (Monday to Friday).

• Demonstrated exceptional visual taste, design judgment, and product sense.
• Advanced AI fluency and mastery of generative design/AI workflow tools.
• Individual contributor mindset—hungry, high speed, and zero expectation of delegating to or managing a team.
• Familiarity with crypto, Web3, and casino/gaming culture.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with marketing to execute fast-paced visual assets.
• Willingness to participate in a 1-to-2-week paid trial evaluating real AI design work and speed.
