Civils Foreman - 21214

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland to take up the position.

The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.

This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Ireland from the company’s headquarters and across project sites as required.

• →Oversee day-to-day site operations.
• →Lead and supervise civil crews and subcontractors.

• →Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Clients, and other project stakeholders.
• →Coordinate works between site crews and engineering teams.
• →Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues.
• →Conduct site inductions for workers and subcontractors.
• →Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• →Ensure site activities comply with HSEQ requirements and procedures.
• →Monitor safe working practices across the site.
• →Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• →Complete daily site reports.
• →Manage and coordinate materials required for site activities.
• →Coordinate plant and equipment requirements.
• →Monitor the availability and use of site resources.
• →Read and interpret construction and site drawings.
• →Ensure crews understand drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
• →Support effective communication between site teams and management.
• →Manage site activities independently while escalating significant issues when required.
• →Perform additional site-related responsibilities as needed.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Civils Foreman within utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of excavation.
• Strong knowledge of ducting works.
• Experience with reinstatement works.
• Strong understanding of general civil works.
• Experience supervising civil crews and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a site environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple site activities.
• Ability to read and interpret site and construction drawings.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Experience conducting site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Ability to maintain site records and complete daily reporting.
• Experience coordinating materials, plant, and site resources.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve site issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driving licence is essential.

The ideal candidate is a practical and experienced civil construction professional with strong site leadership skills.

You should be comfortable leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, reading construction drawings, managing day-to-day site operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and keeping works progressing according to schedule.

Experience working within utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure, excavation, ducting, or reinstatement projects will be particularly valuable.
