Construction Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing construction and real estate business. The ideal candidate has experience with construction accounting, is proficient in Sage Accounting, and is comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

• →Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger transactions.
• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• →Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• →Track project costs, job costing, and construction-related expenses.
• →Prepare financial reports and support budgeting activities.
• →Ensure accounting records are accurate and compliant with company policies.
• →Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• →Maintain organized financial documentation and records.

• 1–3 years of experience in construction accounting or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience using Sage Accounting (required).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fully remote environment.
