Consultant – Preconstruction Scheduler

Location: Remote (LATAM)
Compensation: $2,000 – $2,800 USD/month

Our client is a growing commercial construction organization supporting complex building and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. The team is focused on delivering strong preconstruction planning, operational coordination, and project execution support across commercial construction environments.

They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Preconstruction Scheduler to support estimating, operations, and project management teams through schedule development and coordination.

The Consultant – Preconstruction Scheduler will support the development and maintenance of construction schedules during preconstruction and planning phases.

This role requires someone with experience in:

• commercial construction scheduling
• project sequencing
• coordination across operations and estimating teams
• and construction planning workflows

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple schedules in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop and maintain detailed preconstruction and project schedules
• Analyze project plans, specifications, manpower requirements, and timelines
• Support scheduling for mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP scopes when needed
• Identify critical path activities, milestones, and scheduling conflicts
• Update schedules based on operational or project changes
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and progress updates for leadership teams

• Collaborate with estimating, project management, and operations teams during bidding and planning phases
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and coordination discussions
• Support resource planning and sequencing of project activities
• Assist with schedule recovery planning and risk identification
• Ensure schedules align with operational requirements and client expectations

• Maintain organized schedule documentation and project tracking
• Utilize scheduling software to manage timelines and dependencies
• Support multiple active schedules and deadlines simultaneously
• Assist with process improvements related to scheduling workflows

• 2+ years of experience as a Construction Scheduler, Project Scheduler, or similar role
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with construction sequencing and scheduling logic
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Exposure to mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or MEP construction projects
• Experience with multifamily or commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
• Exposure to preconstruction planning or estimating support

You maintain accuracy across timelines, schedules, and project coordination activities.

You communicate effectively across estimating, operations, and project management teams.

You identify scheduling risks early and help support smooth project planning.

You manage priorities independently while maintaining responsiveness in a remote environment.
