Our client is an innovative brand operating in the performance hardware space. They operate with a lean, highly effective internal creative team that punches well above its weight. By collaborating closely with external partners, the company is dedicated to delivering top-tier performance campaigns and maintaining a strong, trend-forward presence across all social and paid media platforms.
As a Social-First Content Creator, you will step into a hands-on, end-to-end production role to drive the company’s day-to-day social and paid media output. You will be responsible for shooting and editing engaging short-form video content, taking creative briefs, and running with them to produce on-brand results. This position is ideal for a proactive, junior to mid-level professional who understands the importance of the first three seconds of a video, trusts their creative instincts, and can thrive independently without constant direction.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Shoot short-form, social-native video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) on a regular, ongoing basis.
- →Edit footage end-to-end from raw capture to publish-ready cuts, maximizing assets by creating alternative cuts for split-testing and website product pages.
- →Execute briefs from the Head of Visual and external partners, bringing your own creative judgment and ideas to each project.
- →Keep pace with a high-frequency content schedule, focusing on consistent volume and output rather than massive productions.
- →Maintain and organize the internal brand content library so assets are quick and easy to locate.
- →Proactively flag new opportunities, social trends, or formats worth testing for the brand.
Requirements
~1 min read- Junior to mid-level experience with a demonstrable portfolio of short-form video work (experience creating content for paid advertising is a strong bonus).
- Strong, confident shooting skills; capable of independently running lighting, camera, and audio in a studio setting, while also able to support larger brand shoots (e.g., wrangling cables, using c-stands).
- Excellent editing ability with a sharp sense of when to use flashy edits versus keeping things simple. Premiere Pro is preferred (Adobe studio environment), but any pro-level platform is acceptable.
- Deep understanding of shooting and editing specifically for social platforms, including pacing, hooks, native formatting, and safe zones.
- A genuine self-starter who is highly comfortable working independently day-to-day and fully utilizing an equipped studio.
- Background or experience in fitness, hydration, fashion, or performance-adjacent content is highly advantageous.
