We are a growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce brand in the jewelry and fashion space, focused on reaching customers primarily through social media advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. With a small, agile team, we prioritize staying on top of trends to drive sales and engage our target audience, which includes US-based consumers.
Role overview:
As we scale our digital marketing efforts, we are seeking an experienced Creative Content Editor / Video & Photo Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will produce high-converting, trend-driven video and photo content for social media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Instagram. The ideal candidate has a strong DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) background, understands US market trends, and can craft creative hooks that drive engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short-form video content (30-60 second ads, product videos, lifestyle videos) for social media platforms using CapCut or similar tools
- Perform basic photo edits and light Photoshop work, including text overlays, filters, blur effects, and product mockups
- Stay up-to-date on TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends, applying best practices for engagement and conversions
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute content aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines
- Maintain a portfolio showcasing experience with DTC brands and high-performing social media content
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of experience in video and/or photo content editing, ideally for DTC or e-commerce brands
- Proficient in CapCut and Photoshop (basic image edits)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to create content that resonates with target audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Portfolio showcasing social media advertising content (ads, TikToks, DTC creatives); B2B portfolios not considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating content for US-based DTC brands
- Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta trends
- Familiarity with social media advertising tools, such as Facebook Ads Manager
