Credit Analysis & Rating: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of potential and existing clients/vendors, including reviewing financial statements, performing ratio analysis, and generating internal credit risk ratings.
Deep experience in corporate credit analysis or commercial banking, with a focus on analyzing operating companies. Proven ability to read, interpret, and model data from full financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

~1 min readDepending on your area of expertise, responsibilities may include:
- →Build and own complex financial models, including integrated Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow models.
- →Develop and analyze DCF, LBO, M&A, merger, operating, valuation, forecasting, and scenario models.
- →Perform financial analysis using company filings, data rooms, management information, market data, and other relevant sources.
- →Analyze revenue, margins, working capital, cash flow, capital expenditures, debt, financing, taxes, and other key financial drivers.
- →Develop assumptions, sensitivities, downside cases, scenario analyses, and financial forecasts.
- →Support live transactions, investments, financings, refinancing, credit underwriting, portfolio decisions, or strategic initiatives.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP is highly valued.
Candidates with direct experience supporting U.S.-listed companies, U.S. clients, U.S. banks, investors, or SEC-facing reporting are particularly relevant.
Relevant experience may include:
- 10-K and 10-Q analysis
- SEC reporting and filings
- Integrated three-statement financial modeling
- GAAP-to-adjusted EBITDA reconciliations
- Working capital and cash-flow analysis
- Revenue recognition
- Leases
- Business combinations and purchase accounting
- Stock-based compensation
- Income taxes
- Credit losses
- Debt accounting
Exposure to relevant accounting standards such as ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 718, ASC 740, ASC 326, and ASC 470 is a plus, depending on the candidate's area of expertise.
- Demonstrated experience personally building and owning financial models or analyses.
- Recent, hands-on experience is strongly preferred over general finance exposure or seniority alone.
- Experience with a complete model or analysis that was used in a live transaction, investment, financing, credit, operational, or strategic decision.
- Ability to explain the source of the data, key assumptions, accounting treatment, sensitivities, and modeling methodology.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and the relationship between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex financial analyses.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience working with U.S. companies, clients, investors, lenders, or financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
