Salary Range: $1,300 - $2,000/month
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Video Content Creator who can work directly with clients while transforming long-form video and audio content into engaging short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook. The ideal candidate combines editing skills, storytelling, and YouTube SEO knowledge to maximize audience engagement. This role is client-facing and requires coaching clients to capture content effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and repurpose long-form content into short-form videos (shorts/reels) with a raw, authentic feel.
- Apply YouTube SEO strategies: titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Conduct client-facing sessions to coach clients on recording content and refining messaging.
- Use tools like CapCut, Opus Clips, or similar editing software to streamline workflow.
- Add hooks, call-to-actions, captions, and graphics that elevate the content.
- Source and integrate supporting visuals (images, graphics, approved assets) as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain brand voice, target audience alignment, and campaign objectives.
- Stay current with trends in short-form video editing, content marketing, and YouTube SEO.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing or content creation, preferably with social media or marketing content.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Opus Clips, or similar video editing software.
- Strong storytelling abilities: hooks, pacing, delivery, and calls-to-action.
- Excellent design sensibility and ability to match visuals with messaging.
- Strong English communication skills for captions, coaching, and client interaction.
- Ability to maintain a professional yet authentic, engaging style in client-facing scenarios.
- Organizational skills to manage content libraries and video assets.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
- Curiosity or experience with YouTube SEO and audience engagement strategies.
- Portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating editing, social media content, or client-facing interactions.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of motion graphics or light animation for text/graphics overlays.
- Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific best practices.
- Understanding of marketing principles and audience engagement strategies.
Assessment Task:
Candidates will be asked to create a 3-minute short-form video from a provided coaching snippet to demonstrate editing skills, storytelling, and YouTube SEO understanding.
