About the Role
~1 min readWe’re a growing dumpster rental business looking for a key player to help run daily operations. This role is the “control tower” of the company — you will be the person who keeps jobs scheduled, routes organized, customers updated, and drivers moving efficiently.
You’ll handle dispatching + routing as the core responsibility, while also supporting customer communication and ensuring all job details are accurately logged in our systems. The right person is organized, calm under pressure, great at communication, and thrives in fast-moving operations where plans change and details matter.
-
Routes are efficient and clearly communicated to drivers
-
Customers get proactive updates and accurate ETAs
-
No deliveries/pickups fall through the cracks
-
Job details, payments, notes, and records are accurate and complete
-
You can manage the schedule confidently even when things change mid-day
Responsibilities
~1 min read-
Build and update daily routes for deliveries, pickups, swaps, and relocations

Dispatch drivers with clear job details (address, dumpster size, placement notes, customer contact, time windows, special instructions)
-
Adjust routes in real time for delays, cancellations, access issues, and urgent same-day requests
-
Track job statuses and confirm completion throughout the day
-
Maintain visibility on dumpster availability and scheduling capacity
-
Provide post-sale support (status updates, ETAs, reschedules, issue resolution)
-
Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, text, and email
-
Set expectations with customers (delivery windows, placement rules, service limitations)
-
Escalate issues when needed — but maintain ownership until resolved
-
Serve as backup support for other customer-facing team members when required
-
Enter and maintain accurate job details in CRM/tracking tools
-
Verify and “backtrack” information entered by others for accuracy and completeness
-
Ensure all orders have required documentation, notes, and updates logged properly
-
Maintain clean internal records so nothing is missed and everything is accountable
-
Float between dispatch, customer support, and admin needs as required
-
Help maintain organization, documentation, and reporting standards
-
Support building structure and repeatable processes as the business scales
Requirements

-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Confident working in CRMs, spreadsheets, and internal tracking systems
-
Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving parts at once
-
Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable making decisions in real time
-
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
