Responsibilities

→Analyze structural drawings and contract documents to determine precise material requirements
→Conduct takeoffs using Bluebeam for:
- →Corrugated metal decking (measured in square feet), including accessories
- →Steel joists and trusses (measured by piece count)
→Prepare detailed Scope of Work documents, including exclusions, clarifications, and conditions
→Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or technical questions
→Input takeoffs into design and pricing software and maintain accurate records of bid documents and revisions
→Ensure all estimates are itemized, accurate, and verified before submission

Expert in reading structural blueprints, especially open-web steel bar joist systems
Advanced user of Bluebeam for takeoffs and markups
Strong English communication skills for technical discussions with a US-based team
Highly organized with strong attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping

Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Estimator within Structural Steel (Joist & Metal Deck)
Mastery of Bluebeam Revu required
Experience with design and pricing software is a plus
Background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Ability to work consistent US hours (EST/CST)
