About the Client:
Our client provides a modern software platform purpose-built for the vehicle rental industry. Unlike traditional rental software, their solution enables businesses to move beyond one-time transactions by supporting recurring billing, subscription-based rentals, lifecycle management, and flexible mobility solutions.
As the company continues to expand across Australia and New Zealand, they are seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive / Sales Representative to own inbound and outbound sales efforts and help drive new customer acquisition throughout the region.
About the Role:
The Junior Account Executive / Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle across the Australia and New Zealand markets. This role combines inbound lead management with proactive outbound prospecting, allowing the successful candidate to build pipeline, conduct product demonstrations, negotiate opportunities, and independently close deals up to a defined Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) threshold.
The ideal candidate has a strong B2B SaaS sales background, enjoys owning the sales process from prospecting to close, and is excited to contribute to the growth of a fast-scaling software company.
Role Responsibilities:
Inbound & Outbound Sales
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and convert qualified prospects into customers
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
- Identify customer needs and position the platform as the best solution
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
Full Sales Cycle Management
- Own opportunities from initial outreach through contract signature
- Conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations
- Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms within approved parameters
- Independently close deals up to the designated ARR threshold
- Ensure smooth handoffs to customer success or implementation teams
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting within the CRM
- Keep detailed notes on prospect interactions and sales activities
- Monitor pipeline health and proactively manage follow-up activities
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
Market Development
- Develop relationships with businesses across Australia and New Zealand
- Identify new business opportunities within target industries
- Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends
- Share customer feedback to support product and sales strategy improvements
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales Representative roles
- Proven experience managing a full sales cycle
- Strong outbound prospecting and inbound lead management skills
- Demonstrated success closing B2B software deals
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Highly organized with strong pipeline management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling subscription-based or recurring revenue software
- Background selling CRM, fleet management, mobility, automotive, or SaaS platforms
- Experience selling into the Australia and New Zealand markets
- Familiarity with modern CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Experience working within high-growth technology startups
