Our client is a Smart Building Technology company pioneering advanced smart glass and window systems for homes and buildings. Their innovative products enable solar-powered smart-glass functionality without the need for external power or electrical installation.
As the company scales, they are investing in building a more robust, efficient, and future-proof financial infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in modernizing back-office operations while supporting strategic financial decision-making.
The Finance & Accounting Analyst will serve as a key contributor across both financial strategy and core accounting operations. This role is responsible for owning financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, while also supporting day-to-day accounting functions.
This is a high-impact, senior-level role designed to strengthen financial visibility, improve processes, and support leadership with data-driven insights—especially as the company undergoes an ERP transition and broader operational restructuring.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build, maintain, and optimize financial models for forecasting and strategic planning
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights into financial performance
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to support executive decision-making
- Develop forecasting frameworks to improve financial visibility and planning accuracy
- Assist in restructuring and strengthening the back-office finance function
- Support cost optimization initiatives and process improvements
- Help distribute financial responsibilities to de-risk operations and improve scalability
- Contribute to building a more resilient financial structure to support company growth
- Operate within Microsoft Dynamics for accounting and financial workflows
- Support the migration from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and continuity during system transition
- Identify and implement process improvements within the ERP environment
- Manage and support full-cycle accounting, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Account Reconciliations
- Vendor & Customer Setup
- Journal Entries
- Month-End Close
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and audit-ready
- Support payroll processing and cash flow tracking as needed
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all financial reporting
Requirements
~1 min read- 5–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles
- Proven experience building and maintaining financial models in Microsoft Excel
- Strong background in full-cycle accounting operations
- Solid understanding of U.S. business models and accounting practices
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems
- Background in manufacturing, hardware, or technology companies
- CPA or equivalent certification (nice to have)
- MBA or equivalent certification (nice to have)
- Experience with payroll processing, budgeting, and cash flow management
